I really wanted to enjoy this, but it was not at all as advertised. We met at one bar and sat there for a long time. The tour guide walked around the table and told somewhat of a "ghost" story and showed us pictures on her phone of what might be a haunted place. The whole point of a haunted pub crawl is to walk past haunted and spooky places on your way from one bar to another. That did not happen at all. All we got was less than a handful of very hard to hear stories (that were repeated numerous times to each group within the tour) while sitting and having a drink and looking at pictures on the guide's phone. If I wanted to just look at pictures on a phone, I would stay home and save $35. I also think the price was very high for not even including one drink in the price. We only went to technically 3 bars (but really 2 since 2 of them were literally right next door to each other). I also think it would be helpful for the guide to have a microphone or at least be able to speak loudly enough for the whole group to hear. My friends and I were very disappointed. It's a shame because I've been on good ghost/spooky pub crawls before, but this was NOT one of them.

I suppose the title should be changed to "Downtown Historic Discussion and Bar Visit" because that is really what it was. The tour title is very misleading therefor the review I will give should help others. There is no fun on this tour. Is is not a pub crawl. We visited a couple of bars who didn't even know the tour existed so no specials. There is no fun scaring or telling of ghost stories. We didn't interact with any of the historic sites we visited just listened to the tour guide talk about historic events. Which would have been fine is that is what you want on a tour but the title is super misleading. I did a review on Google and the owner came back hard at me, very unprofessional. But I did an edit and explained why I gave a low rating.

A dark and misty Sunday night was the perfect setting for a walking pub tour with stories of the supernatural and paranormal. Our guide Cyndi was friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and interesting. She made it an awesome experience! We highly recommend Cyndi and this tour to all!

Our host was personable and especially looked the part. The tour itself was a little less interesting than I’d hoped. Bars were busy and loud, so it made it difficult to hear; beer was good. Probably would go on a regular ghost tour next time and just have some drinks on my own.

I have mixed feelings about this tour. On one hand, I absolutely love that there were stops during the tour to grab a drink and check out some cool spots. On the other hand it was 80% pub crawl and 20% ghost tour. And quite honestly for the price with no drink tickets or discounts, I just didn’t think it was worth it. My husband and I could have visited those spots on our own without the added $70 tickets. Don’t get me wrong, our guide, William, was incredible. Super knowledgeable and personable. Had great stories and answered all of our follow up questions. But I just wish we could have seen more haunted buildings or gone into them. He kept mentioning the Randolph house and how spooky it was but we never even got to see it. We went to one non-bar open area and three bars. Again, I’m all for having drinks and making pit stops, but I just wanted more spooky, especially for the price. Definitely a pub crawl, not a ghost tour.

William was a fantastic tour guide with fun pictures and stories. It was great to drink beer and hear good ghost stories!

Not like other pub crawls I have been on. There was no engagement with the location, there was no drink deal, discount, or special drink. It was a walking tour to different bars with no engagement with the establishment. There was really nothing special about going to the bars. You could have walked around yourself and had a more engaging and fun experience, The one bartender said, "we know who they are but we never know when they are doing this." The tour guide worked to make the best of it by providing interesting facts about the area.

Only hit Hounds Tale and Dog Street Pub. We were dropped off by Percarious, but our guide had to leave to do a ghost tour. We did walk by Wren Building and Kimball. However we were never taken to Berret's Seafood and we did not pass by Public Hospital or the Bruton Church. 2 simple ghost stories were told. Very disappointed. Most of our group was.

Such a fun time. William was THE BEST tour guide ever! This was a great way to hear some spooky history and try some different beers.

Had an absolute BLAST! William was funny, told us stories while we walked and while we drank, and we went to a bunch of fun pubs and drinking spots. We even went over to William and Mary and heard ghost stories there! Totally didn’t know Williamsburg was so haunted. Recommend and we’re going again! Loved it!
