IMPORTANT: All drivers are required to have one of the following valid documents in order to participate in this tour 1.International Drivers Permits 2.SOFA Driving License for US Forces Japan 3.Japanese Driver's License Hardcopy issued by the local authority of each country (issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia, or Monaco) with Japanese translation by the authorized organization is allowed to drive in Japan We will conduct an alcohol check of our guests prior to the driving tour. If you are found to be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicated, you may not be allowed to participate in the tour. Shibuya course takes you through the trendy districts of Harajuku and Omotesando, the birthplace of Japanese pop fashion. Our well-trained guides will accompany you every step of the way, capturing the highlights with as many photos as possible.

The International Driving Permits that Japan will allow is the 1949 Geneva Act. Each country has its own assigned agent (usually a major roadside service company) that is permitted to issue a 1949 Geneva Act format Driving Permit. There are no agents that will issue a 1949 Geneva Act International Driving Permit over the Internet. The correct format for the permit must be a booklet and must have the word 1949 Geneva, or the date of the actual convention, September 19, 1949 on the cover of the permit.
