The Lemosho route gives climbers plenty of time to acclimatize properly, The climb begins at Lemosho Gate, at an altitude of 2360 metres, with an approach far to the west of the mountain. It passes through a majestic rainforest where some of the region’s most unique wildlife can often be seen.
This is one of the most beautiful and complete routes to climb Kilimanjaro. The views are spectacular and the success rates to reach the summit are high.
