Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania. It’s home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maisa tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominin fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years. Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is famous for being the location of the Great Wildlife Migration, which sees two million wildebeests, zebras and antelopes stretched across its plains. It's also an extremely large and wild game park, and is home to the Big Five Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area.
