Vester Vedsted is a hamlet in southern Jutland with a population of 316 people (2021). Vester Vedsted is located in Vester Vedsted Parish near the Wadden Sea, three kilometers west of Egebk and ten kilometers southwest of Ribe. The city is part of the Esbjerg Municipality and is located in the Region of Southern Denmark.
Vester Vedsted is an open structure with green spaces sprouting in between farms and dwellings. The town contains a number of well-preserved farms and homesteads constructed in the typical West Jutland architecture. The new district is built outside the existing village area on the north side of the stream.
