Vĩnh Long

Vinh Long, in the Mekong Deltas, has become a popular destination for eco-tourists. Its popularity has grown as a result of its closeness to Ho Chi Minh City. It is located 130 kilometers south-west of the city and has the same name as the Province. Kinh, Vietnamese, make up the vast bulk of the population. However, Chinese and Cambodian Khmer are few.

There are several months of the year when the Mekong is considered to be in a rainy season and flooding occurs. The rain, on the other hand, might come in the form of a strong mid-day shower, with the remainder of the day remaining dry. The driest months are from October through May, and this is considered the dry season. Nonetheless, many people visit Vietnam all year long as long as they are prepared for some rain.
