Vienna

Vienna is the capital city of Austria and is rich in history, architecture, art, music, gastronomy, and wine. Vienna, located on the Danube River, dates back to the Roman period. The majority of the city's numerous Baroque architecture was built during the reigns of Empress Maria Theresa (18th century) and Emperor Franz Joseph (19th century), and they now stand in stark contrast to modern glass and steel constructions.
