Skjern is a railway town with a population of 7,741 in western Jutland, Denmark (1 January 2014). It served as the administrative center of the now-defunct Skjern Municipality. It has been the co-administrative headquarters of the Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality since 2007. Skjern is served by the Stauning Vestjylland Airport, which also houses Danmarks Flymuseum, which displays vintage aircraft.
