Silkeborg

Silkeborg, Denmark's largest lake area, is located in the heart of the country. On one side, the town is bordered by Gudenaa, the country's longest river. The town's opposite side is bounded by numerous huge lakes and a forest.

Silkeborg is well-known for its festivals. The Jazz Festival, which takes place every year and lasts four days, is one of them. The city is alive with music these days, which can be heard from the depths of the performance hall while going down the street from the restaurant or simply resting on the park's meadows. There is also a well-known fireworks festival, which has been conducted every three years since 1899.
