Paris

Every year, millions of people are drawn to the City of Light by its spectacular aura. Of course, the wonderful gastronomy and rich art collections must be credited as well. The Seine River meanders through the city, bordered by majestic museums, centuries-old churches, and blocks of Rococo and Neoclassical architecture, which is further accented by cascading trees and dazzling streetlamps. Impossibly stylish Parisians may be found strolling along the Seine's cobblestone walkways and exquisite bridges, most likely on their way to the market, cafe, or movie.

From June to August and September to October are the finest months to visit Paris. Summer and autumn both have their ups and downs. The weather in Paris is nearly beautiful from June through August. Unfortunately, summer is also the busiest – and most costly – season. Plan a trip in the fall for reduced airfare and fewer queues at attractions. However, keep in mind that Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world, with up to 30 million visitors each year. As a result, no matter when you arrive, there will always be visitors and throngs.
