Hobro is a historic market and railway town in Region Nordjylland on Denmark's Jutland peninsula. The settlement is located on a hill near the mouth of the Mariager Fjord, close to the old Viking fortification of Fyrkat. It serves as the municipal seat for Mariagerfjord.
