Hiroshima
Hiroshima is a large thriving city that has been largely rebuilt since the war. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which commemorates the destruction caused by the atomic bomb in 1945, is situated near ground zero. Many prominent sites such as Genbaku Dome and Shukkei-en can be found within the park boundaries. Outside of the park you will find Hiroshima Castle which is surrounded by a moat and has been claimed as one of Hiroshima's most iconic landmarks.
