Fredericia

Fredericia is a town in the municipality of Fredericia on the eastern part of Denmark's Jutland peninsula, in a sub-region known locally as Trekanten, or The Triangle. Frederick III, for whom it was called, founded it in 1650. The city alone has a population of 39,922 (as of January 2014), while the Fredericia municipality has a population of 50,324 (as of January 2014).
