Đồng Tháp
Dong Thap is a province located in the Mekong Delta. It is not as widely known as surrounding provinces such as Tien Giang, Can Tho, or Kien Giang, but the province has its own unique qualities that attract travellers. Dong Thap is 165 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City and shares a 52-kilometre border with Cambodia. Sa Dec and Cao Lanh are the two provincial cities.
In Dong Thap Province, there are two seasons. The rainy season lasts from May to November, whereas the dry season lasts from December to April. The months of August and September are ideal for visiting Dong Thap Province. And the best time to visit this region is in August when the lotus garden is full bloom. Dong Thap Province is one of the best locations to visit if you enjoy nature since it has gardens, rivers, and a national park. As a result, you should use anti-mosquito or bug lotion to protect your skin. Every year, from January through May, when the sky is clear, tourists visit Tram Chim National Park. It's amazing to see thousands of cranes soaring out into the sky before dawn in search of food or returning to their nests.
