Cat Ba Island is an archipelago in Hai Phong's Cat Hai district. Offshore, around 30 kilometers from Hai Phong. Ha Long Bay is about 25 kilometers north of Ha Long City. UNESCO has designated Ha Long Bay as a World Natural Heritage site, and Cat Ba Island as a World Biosphere Reserve. Many people also relate this island to the North Pacific pearl island (like the pearl island of Phu Quoc in the South).

Visitors may visit Cat Ba at any time of year since it offers a pleasant and fresh climate all year. Summer, on the other hand, is usually a paradise season for Cat Ba because tourists may freely swim in the waters and enjoy the cool green environment that dispels the heat. Please keep in mind that if you visit Cat Ba during the summer, you should avoid visiting on weekends. At this time, not only are there a lot of people, but the room rates are also quite costly.
