Boston

Boston is more than just a baseball town with brownstones and bookish university types. It also has America's first major free municipal public library, subway system, public school, and public park. To say the city is historic is an understatement, yet this extremely clever college town doesn't get stuck in the past.

Boston is a small city, but its cultural diversity makes it feel like a much larger metropolis. You can have some of the greatest dim sum in the country in Chinatown, then travel 15 minutes to a brewery by the sea. You may spend a day at a world-renowned art museum and finish up at a Red Sox game that night, or you can spend the day roaming the Harvard University campus and ending the day at the iconic House of Blues.
