Top Experiences in Vernal Fall

Trek alongside three major waterfalls in Yosemite National Park — Illilouette Fall, Nevada Fall and Vernal Fall — on this full-day guided hike. After a shuttle ride to Glacier Point, take in scenic views of Half Dome and other landmarks as you learn about the park’s natural features. Then embark on a moderately strenuous 8.5-mile journey on foot, descending more than 3,000 feet to the valley floor via the Panorama Trail and the Mist Trail. This tour operates from May to October and has a guide-to-client ratio of 1:6 to ensure personalized attention. Larger groups can also be accommodated.

Our Classic Camping/Hiking Adventure is a traditional way of visiting Yosemite without the “roughing-it” experience of backpacking. We will shuttle daily from our campsite, with daypacks and lunch in hand, to our selected hiking destinations. Much like in the summer, the Yosemite Valley Floor offers hours of exploration within the more level and easier accessible areas of the Yosemite Valley. In addition to providing you with natural and geological history, this tour will highlight some of the lesser known winter ‘gems’ around the valley. The Yosemite Valley Floor Loop is great for families with younger children and/or families looking for an easier hike but can be customized to be more strenuous if desired.

This is the ultimate Yosemite sightseeing experience and the best way to see Yosemite in just one day. We'll start off exploring a grove of Giant Sequoias, the largest living tree species on earth, on a 2 mile round trip hike, before heading out to Glacier Point.  Once at Glacier Point we'll enjoy birds-eye views of Yosemite's most iconic landmarks like Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and El Capitan as well as Vernal and Nevada Falls! We'll end the day with even more hiking, sightseeing and maybe even a little swimming in the famed Yosemite Valley where we'll see the iconic views from Tunnel View and Bridalveil Falls!

Set foot on the Mist Trail, one of Yosemite National Parks most popular routes, during this 6 to 8-hour guided hike from Yosemite Valley. The vertical trail brings you to the base of Vernal Fall, then crosses the Merced River for postcard views before you ascend a steep, granite staircase alongside the 317-foot (96-meter) cascade. Be prepared to get wet on the way to the top! This seasonal tour operates from April to November.
