Keys tour sites such as a visit to the 17th century Rum Distillery where we can taste the rum that was made then. then to the Caribelle Batik that sits the Caribe Indian history that showcases the American history of Thomas Jefferson Great Great Grandfather as we view the spectacular making of the Clothing that we can the Batik. We then make our way around the island as we view the beautiful site of the famous Brimstone hill fortress as we pass by. Our next stop is the unique view of the Atlantic and Caribbean sea as they collide exotically. The next view is the famous Black Rocks - where we see the evidence of the 400 years old volcanic eruption, and much more. As we continue, the last stop is the great Timothy Hill where we stop and view both the Atlantic and Caribbean sea at once .

As you travel through Basseterre, your tour guide will point out the historical sites of Berkeley Memorial, Immaculate Conception Catholic Cathedral, Independence Square, and The War Memorial. Upon arrival at Romney Manor, you will see the largest living organism in St. Kitts, a 400-year-old Saman tree. Adjacent to Romney Manor is Wingfield Estate which was owned by the great-great-great grandfather of Thomas Jefferson. Caribelle Batik, a producer of fine batik products is located at Wingfield Estate. Wingfield Estate is one of four places on St. Kitts that has a 17th century Amerindian petroglyphs. The Wingfield watershed is a natural resource that deposits water into the Wingfield River, that provides the island with a portion of its water requirement. The next stop is Brimstone Hill Fortress. Key's Village and Timothy Hill Overlook, are the next stops on the tour where you will take in breathtaking panoramic views of the island. One of two beaches are the final stops on the tour.

This tour leaves Port zante, the st.kitts marriott or any other place agrees upon and travels along the the island main road towards Basseterre. On arrival into Basseterre city our rich European and African history is evident in the architecture. Venture away from the city of Basseterre and explore St. Kitts countryside in our open-air safari truck OR SUV Enjoy complimentary beverages on board, visit a 16th-century sugar plantation, walk around the plantation as you learn the history that took place back in 16th century. Next, you will make a stop at the Caribelle Batik factory and gift shop, there will be a separate entrance fee (3 dollars) you will have 30 mins. Then you'll go to the top of Timothy Hill and enjoy the views of the Atlantic and Caribbean Ocean. A nice relaxing visit to the beach will follow you can stay as long as you like till is time to go back to your ship or hotel. Hotel and port pickup and drop-off is included.

Your tour takes you a journey through the historic streets of downtown Basseterre, one of the Caribbean most preserved towns. See building made of authentic volcanic stone and wooded structures and island lifestyle.

Your journey continues into the hotel district of Frigate Bay where you will see the Famous Timothy Hill where one can see the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea with our sister island Nevis in the background.

After taking in the views, we journey to the Beach bar where you spend a few hours of beach time. Beach chairs, food, and umbrellas are all here for purchase. It’s always a fun time at the beach with cool Caribbean music and true authentic Caribbean beach flavor.

We will Greet you at our meeting point. From there, the tour will proceed to what is considered the island’s national monument, the Berkeley Memorial. Then, you go by a historical slave market. Continue on throughout the old town.
Then proceed to the open country roads where you can observe nesting birds.

Next, you will arrive at Caribelle Batik, the handy work of Samuel Jefferson, the ancestor to Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States. There, you will see the ruins of a sugar plantation, the beginning of the rainforest, a botanical garden, and a factory and gift shop, where you will be allotted 30-minutes to browse.

You will then proceed to Timothy Hill, towards the southeast peninsula, where you will see the most picturesque views anywhere in the Caribbean. From this vantage point, you will be able to see both the Atlantic ocean as well as the Caribbean sea.

This tour is designed to enables our guests to view and have a detailed history of the island of st.kitts. It highlights our rich European and African history in narration with your local guide. We travel the entirety of the island traveling through our historical city of, Basseterre and into the western side of the island. The tour makes 4 stops.
