We will start our journey by discovering the curiosities of Trastevere, such as the oldest synagogue in Rome.

Most of these original temples have been incorporated into the structure of St. Nicholas church and are still perfectly visible. Going down into the basement, you will chill passing through a crypt used for exorcisms, full of piles of ancient fragments of human bones.
At the end of the path, your guide will show you the ancient prisons, where the legend tells that St. Nicholas was imprisoned.

In the second part of the visit we will cross the river through the charming boat-shaped island, to continue our walk in Trastevere, considered a city apart from its inhabitants who call themselves the "true Romans"! The houses, squares and street names recall the medieval atmosphere. But the undergrounds of some spots will leave you breathless!
