Built over the four-year period between 1698 and 1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu, the Mogoșoaia Palace is famous for its architecture. The palace houses a museum and art gallery inside its walls, but it is also known for its beautiful gardens. Here you will have a coffee break. You will go to Vlahiia Garden, where you will have a traditional Romanian lunch and you will visit old houses from Maramures, you will discover their traditions and a little rural paradise not far from Bucharest. You will travel to Snagov, where you will find interesting information about Snagov Palace and The Monastery. In the afternoon you will return to Bucharest.

This is a private day trip to the largest salt mine in Romania which has a Planetarium inside, to a nice wine cellar and to the tomb of Vlad the Impaler.
We pick you up in the morning from your hotel and drive about one and a half hour to Slănic Prahova Salt Mine. Here will visit the huge galleries dug in salt and we will be able to do some sports activities: karts with pedals, ping pong, billiards, mini-golf, etc.

Vlad III, the Prince of Wallachia, was born sometime between 1428 and 1431, probably in Sighişaora, Transylvania. His patronymic, ‘Dracul’, means Dragon, derived from the membership of his father, Vlad II Dracul, in the Order of the Dragon, an order of chivalry for the defence of Christianity in Eastern Europe against the Ottomans, so the young Vlad became known as Dracula, or “son of Dragon”. The exact date, cause, and location of Vlad’s death is unknown, but is believed to have taken place between October and December 1476, when he disappeared in battle. It is known, however, that his head was taken to Constantinople as a trophy. His daughter Maria was meanwhile brought to the Neapolitan court, whose ruling family was allied with her own family, where she was adopted and eventually married to a Neapolitan nobleman.
