Secret Lagoon natural hot springs are located in the small village called Fludir and are in the Golden Circle area. We have kept it natural and unique for our guests so they can get the true Icelandic feeling. The pool’s natural surroundings and steam rising into the air gives the place a magical feeling. The warm water stays at 38-40 Celsius all year. In the whole area there are several geothermal spots and a little Geysir which erupts every 5 minutes, showing off for the guests relaxing in the hot spring. During winter, Northern lights can often be seen in the area and what better way to experience the light show than relaxing in the warm water surrounded by the steam from the earth?

Driving through the Geysir hot spring area from Reykjavik with its boiling mud pits and spouting hot springs we head to Gullfoss waterfall and from there straight towards Langjökull glacier for a snowmobile tour. Let the snowfields take your breath away while enjoying the thrill of dashing across Europe‘s second-largest glacier. Our final stop is located by a small village called Flúðir where we will take a dip in a secret outdoor lagoon which is a natural thermal hot spring. A three day northern lights adventure along the south part of Iceland. We will visit waterfalls, black beaches, glaciers and amazing glacier lagoons. Each night we will hunt for the Northern Lights with a very knowledgeable guide. One of the myths explained that the lights tell stories about animals and nature. Some spoke of the aurora appearing when whales were playing games, while the Danes believed the lights were caused by swans competing to see who could fly further north. According to legend, some of the swans became trapped in the ice and as they tried to escape, they flapped their wings creating flurries of light in the sky.
