Ramayana Ballet Performance in Prambanan is open only 3 days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It tells the story of Ramayana.

Especially on Friday, it's open but telling the Legend of Roro Jonggrang, not Ramayana.

Roro Jonggrang is a famous legend from Central Java. The story was about a beautiful princess who was cursed into a statue of a Hindu Goddess, Durga.

Ramayana Ballet is a unique and stunning performance that brings the ancient Hindu epic to life through dance and music. The performance takes place in the open-air theater of Prambanan Temple. The dancers, dressed in colorful traditional costumes, move gracefully to the music of a live gamelan orchestra. The performance also features stunning visual effects, including fireworks and lighting, that add to the enchantment of the show.
