We’ll experience Kauai’s sacred and breathtaking northwest coast and then head offshore into the deeper and more remote waters of Lehua and Ni’ihau where there are superior wildlife viewing opportunities and world-class snorkeling conditions. Snorkeling gear and instruction are provided, and our sleek and comfortable Kauai-built 65’ power catamaran is the vessel to take you and your loved ones there and back safely and in style. Kauai Offshore Adventures operates the only raft capable of crossing the channel to Niihau- The Forbidden Island. Niihau has some of the clearest water anywhere in Hawai'i and a variety of sea life that cannot be matched. Our captains will introduce you to the history and geography of the fascinating island before finding a beautiful snorkeling location to set up an anchor and get in the water. Common sights in the waters around Niihau include endangered Hawaiian Monk Seals, Hawaiian Sea Turtles, Tropical Reef Fish, Manta Rays, Small Harmless Sharks, Whale Sharks, Octopus, and everything else that can be imagined. In this winter time, we will also be able to see Humpback Whales in the channel. Guests who book this tour should be comfortable in the ocean and have some familiarity with snorkeling.
