This meeting has remained etched in my memory and I share this story with my visitors.

Take a train 2 hours to Lyon. Cycle along flat cycle paths through Lyon. Stop at the Rhone River to admire the famous Hotel Dieu and enjoy a cycle on the banks of the river Rhône. Head over the bridge to Bellecour Square

Continue to the Jacobins to take a funicular railway to the Basicilica and Roman Theatre.
