Your journey begins at the designated meeting point; our farm called “Finca la Garabata” on google maps as: Horseback Riding Jaco. Once you arrive, you'll prepare to get on your horse and set off on a scenic horseback ride through towards the north end of Jaco Beach. Take a moment to get off your horse, snap some photos, and enjoy a light snack while you relax and soak up the atmosphere. From there, continue on your adventure, relax and unwind. Our clients can choose where the tour concludes either on the beachside of Jaco or back at the starting point
We recommend this tour for kids or elders because it is completely flat during the whole experience.

The property boasts spectacular views of the Herradura bay and Island, as well as the Nicoya Gulf. Within the property, you will havethe opportunity to view the Scarlet Macaws, Chestnut mandible Toucans and whiteface monkeys. The property rests on 80 acres of land.

We will start the tour with the pick up from your hotel in Alajuela Heredia or San Jose we will take you to start short (5 minute) downhill hike we will start our adventure through the river. We will hike up the river using trails and bridges that criss-cross the river allowing us to enjoy multiple smaller, interactive waterfalls and natural pools. There are 4 different swimming holes and many waterfalls to get under. These natural pools will invite you to swim in the fresh mountain spring water and submerge under the falls for an invigorating massage. For the more adventurous there are a couple of places you can jump into the pools from 4′ and up to 25′! When you are done we have the 10 minute hike back to the truck. During the entire tour we are totally surrounded by beautiful Costa Rica virgin rain forest.
