The Isle of Skye is a Mystical and Magical place that has long been associated with Fairies. This day long tour from Inverness takes you to some of these places where you can spend time walking and soaking up the Atmosphere.

The Fairy Pools at the foot of the Cuillin mountains where some visitors are tempted to swim. The Fairy Glen on the Trotternish peninsula is a lovely peaceful place with some magnificient views and beautiful walks. The Fairy Bridge where the chief of Clan Macleod saw his Fairy wife for the last time before she returned to Fairyland. The Fairy Flag can be seen in Dunvegan Castle - home of the Clan Macleod for more than 800 years.

On our way to the Isle of Skye we will also stop at Eilean Donan Castle for a photo opportunity. When Dunvegan castle is closed we will go to Portree instead of the castle and The Fairy Bridge.

Your driver/guide is a Highlander who has many years experience in taking people on private tours throughout the Highlands and Islands and his knowledge of the history and geography of the area will ensure you have a wonderful tour.

This is a perfect Tour for small groups or families up to 7 people. We have great flexibility to make adjustments to the Itinerary based on the age and profile of each group.
We will support guests with a variety of accommodation options in the south of Skye - 3 and 4 star hotels and guest houses. During the day we will schedule lunch stops at well-appointed restaurants/cafes and we will also help to make arrangements for dinner each evening.
We recommend you bring warm and/or waterproof clothing and Footwear, no matter what the forecast appears to be…Scotland’s weather is very unpredictable! Our minibuses have plenty of luggage capacity. Food is readily available at the majority of stops on tour.
