On the Tatio Geysers tour we will leave San Pedro de Atacama at dawn towards the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes Mountains. After 1 hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the Geysers, a unique natural spectacle in the world, with 80 steaming geysers at an altitude of 4,200 m. Next to this natural setting, we will enjoy a replenishing breakfast, and then tour the geothermal field, surrounded by numerous columns of steam. Also, it is possible to visit the rustic pool that is within the same field, although at the moment it is not allowed to bathe in the thermal pool. The land of water and fire. The heat generated by the active volcanoes of the region warms the underground waters. In contrast with the freezing temperatures of the surface, generous amounts of water vapor are produced.
