We offer advanced and basic photographic instruction for cell phone, poin'n'shoot & DSLR camera users. We conduct our tours over a set route of 7 or 8 different locations with each location offering unique photo opportunities AND teaching opportunities. Although a majority of my photography instruction is equally applicable to BOTH cell phones, point’n'shoots and DSLR cameras, some of my instruction is specific to DSLR users.

Are you looking to see the best of Ketchikan in a short time with a chance of wildlife? The Tongass Trolley tour is for you! Enjoy the sights while your Guide shares Ketchikan's colorful history in a replicated 1800's cable car trolley. You begin the journey with a short drive past an eagle's nest to Saxman Native Village where you will disembark to experience the largest collection of Tlingit and Haida totem poles. Your Guide will share the rich cultural story each totem tells while you walk around the grounds of the village. The next stop is at a small cove for an opportunity to see wildlife. Of course, wildlife is never guaranteed, but there is a good chance of sightings at this location. The last stop is a short drive to Rainbow Falls where you will stop to enjoy a photo op in front of the beautiful falls. After a scenic coastal drive back to town, we will drop you at the historic district of Creek Street or back to where the tour began. You will love where we take you!

We have two 13 Passenger van’s that can be booked out in small groups, big groups and or private charters that will pick you up on the docks and take you away from the busy city scene. Stopping at Creek Street is a popular destination to see salmon returning to spawn, with lots of unique shops to find that perfect gift. Learning the interesting history of the creek from its brothels, taverns, the fish ladder, and married man’s trail are just a few of the historic attractions that make the boardwalk a must-see highlight.

Enjoy a guided historical walking tour of Creek Street and the Fishing Fleet, book ended by drinks at the Fishermen's favorite watering holes. Learn about the colorful events that have shaped Ketchikan, The Salmon Capitol of the World and Alaska's First City. After a round at the "Shipwreck Bar", we'll stroll through town to Creek Street then down to the docks to learn about the world famous fishing fleet and see the boats and crews up close preparing for their next catch. We'll finish at the infamous Potlatch Bar for more drinks and stories.

You will be guided by a Fisherman who lives on the Fishing Fleet’s Dock in Ketchikan. Your guide has first hand knowledge of the Fishing Fleet and their favorite watering holes. Fun, entertainment, drinks, history and a few tall tales make this a “must do” tour while visiting Ketchikan!
