Bedouins are saying it's one of the most beautiful canyons there. Whoever described it gave it an air of secrecy and mystique.

The canyon is known as Hamata or Abu Hamata - a place of the Wild Figs - as it shows with its unique tree in the middle of its way, only a few Bedouins know about it.

Depart Sharm El Sheikh and head through the desert on the 240 kilometer drive to the magnificent Colored Canyon. Formed by the elements over millions of years, Sinai’s Colored Canyon is a natural phenomenon that stretches for over a kilometer and looks like a set from an Indiana Jones film.

This is an exciting full-day trip to the best locations of the Sinai Peninsula.
The trip starts at around 7am and you will be back hotel around 5pm. Be ready for the full day adventurous trip.
The group will move to Dahab city for camel riding along the sea coast and quadbiking (optional), snorkeling in Blue Hole (entrance fee is included) and lunch in authentic bedouin cafe. Also there will be time for quick shopping.
After it we will move to the Coloured Canyon (another name canyon Salama). It is one of the most beautiful and largest canyons in Sinai. You will see there plenty of rock colours - from beige to red and brown, natural rocks patterns, the remains of ancient corals. You will walk through the canyon for 1 hour.

Note: the trip is adventurous, requires medium fitness level. Do not recommend for old people, children and pregnant women.
