The tour starts from the Teatro Massimo, the main opera house in Palermo, located in the heart of the city center.
At the meeting point, participants will receive their personal "Mangione Passport".
The first part of the experience takes place at the Cape market. The route winds through the alleys of the neighborhood and the fragrant banks of fish and fruit animated by the screams of the vendors.
Along the promenade, the guides offer travelers a taste of traditional street food.
The Capo will be offered fried food from the street: arancine, panelle and crocchè di patate. The tastings are made at family-run street vendors and chip shops, selected on the basis of the quality of the food offered and the authenticity of the place.
The second part of the experience takes place at the Vucciria market, a glass of fortified wine and an aperitif with the people of the neighborhood, taste the famous spleen sandwich and finally finish with a seasonal dessert.

Afterwords we will be in our location situated in a charming historical and noble XVII cent. Palazzo, located in front of the Cathedral called Palazzo Asmundo. Here we will cook for all the morning. What you will prepare is a full course sicilian menu based on fish, meat or vegetarian on request, totally three dishes. We will start from an appetizer of local olives cheeses and Monreale bread with extravergine olive oil with a glass of wine. However the menu is seasonal, so it changes. During the class you will prepare the authentic sicilian Limoncello with the lemons that the chef grows in her land nearby the Nebrodi park.

At the end of our cooking day you will receive the certificate signed by the Chef and a small botthe of our home-made limoncello to carry back home!
