A 9-day action-packed Kimberley trip where you get to hike, swim and camp in some of the most spectacular locations in outback Australia. This tour takes you through the heart of the Kimberley outback, departing Darwin heading west towards Kununurra and on to the Gibb River Road, venturing into Lake Argyle, the Bungle Bungles, El Questro and many more unforgettable locations. There is the opportunity to go on a boat ride on Lake Argyle, Australia's largest man-made lake and a helicopter ride over the Bungle Bungles. You'll also be able to spot native animals in their natural habitat and reward yourself with a swim after hiking to some of Australia's best waterfalls. The tour finishes in the pearling town of Broome.

Experience Purnululu by air with Aviair and then by ground to appreciate the vast, rugged beauty of this World Heritage-Listed National Park. Your scenic flight will take you over Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungle Range where you will land. Your flight will be met by a guide who will take you by 4WD to the Bungle Bungle Range. You will then embark on a moderate 3km walk which takes in Piccaninny Creek, the beehive shaped sandstone domes and Cathedral Gorge. You are provided with a small cooler bag to carry your tasty picnic lunch in the shade of the gorge. Your flight home flies over the fascinating Argyle Diamond Mine where rare pink diamonds are mined.

The tour will depart from Darwin Airport, where you prepare for some of the most phenomenal sights anywhere in the world. Firstly, fly out over outback Australia, including the Kimberley region and, most noteworthy, the scenic north west coastline. Upon arriving in Kununurra, the tour will head towards the renowned Bungle Bungles. These huge sandstone towers were molded by twenty million years of erosion and weathering. This all lead to the stunning, multi-coloured pillars we see today. Moreover, seeing them from the sky is an absolutely unbeatable experience, as only from there is it possible to understand the scale and unbelieveable beauty of the ranges.

Afterwards, the tour will lead you to a lesser known spectacle of the Australian Outback. Following the winding gorges of the Ord River, the tour reaches its pinnacle. Departing Broome flying over the beautiful turquoise waters of Roebuck Bay, the Fitzroy River, the Napier Range, Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges, heading to the East Kimberley.
Fly around the Bungle Bungle Massif, before landing at the Bellburn airstrip.
On arrival, your local Gija tour guide from Kingfisher Tours, will welcome you to country, enjoy fresh damper, before travelling to the beehives in an air-conditioned 4WD bus with stops along the way for spectacular photo opportunities.
Enjoy a moderate 3km guided walk amongst the famous black and orange banded beehive structures on the domes walk.
