The St Kitts Scenic Railway tour is a narrow gauge railway that was originally built in the early 20th century to transport sugarcane from the island's plantation to the sugar factory.

Upon arrival at Fairview's Great House and Botanical Garden, you will enjoy a guided walk around the great house which is believed to have been initially built in 1701 by the French. This Great House has had many owners and inhabitants over the years, each leaving their mark and contributing to the unique history of the property and Botanical Gardens. The next stop is Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Timothy Hill Overlook is the final stop on the tour, you will embrace a 360-degree view includes the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, Friar’s and Frigate Bays, and Nevis.

During this part of the excursion, you will see our old churches, the Berkley Memorial (The Circus), The Indepenedent Square and The War Memorial. While traveling in a westward direction, the tour will make two stops. Firstly, we will stop at the Romney Manor Sugar Plantation. It was owned by the great, great, grandfather of Thomas Jerferson - the third president of the United States. From there, we will journey to back to Basseterre and across the F.T Williams Highway, down the Kim Collins Highway and into Timothy Hill. On the southeast side of the island. For a beautiful panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. We then Take a 10 min. drive to your desired place of drop off.
