This 10 day tour starts with two overnights in the Greek capital of Athens. You will be staying at a 5 star hotel in the center within walking distance to all sites worth seeing in Athens (Day 2). The next day we will transport you to Ancient Corinth (as in Corinthians of the bible) on the Peloponnese peninsula which is the top destination in the mainland. From Ancient Corinth you will cycle 36 mi / 57 km to the 1st Greek capital of Nafplio through Argos for two overnights. You will then cycle back to Ancient Corinth through Mycenae (Days 3-6). The walk will take about 1,5 hours. During it, I'll share with you my love for Athens -- the hidden paths, beautiful backstreets and hills, its living history, and some personal stories as well. I'll give you a glimpse of the modern Athenian lifestyle, where we hang out, where we eat, and most importantly where we cut loose.

We'll end the "volta" at one of the best taprooms in Athens. There, we'll spend 1,5 hours more, and during that time we will do a brief introduction to Greek beer culture, as well as a short master class about beer tasting and food pairing. We'll taste four different types of beer combined with an assortment of Greek cheeses, olives, nuts, fruits and chocolate, and in this way, I will introduce you to the art and science of tasting beer.

This tour gives us the opportunity to visit and explore the places where St. Paul preached to the ancient Greeks in Athens and Corinth, in a day.

The tour starts by visiting the “Areos Pagos” (literally, Mars Hill) at the foot of the Acropolis.

Continuing our tour to our next stop, the “Agora”, we’ll have the opportunity of a sightseeing in the centre of Athens. (Temple of Zeus-1896 Olympic stadium-Presidential Palace-Greek Parliament-Changing of the Guards).

With our visit to the “Agora” we conclude the Athens part of our tour and we continue to visit Corinth and the Corinth Canal. The Canal (approx. 6 km long connecting the Aegean with the Ionian Sea)where we have a brief stop for photos. Then we visit Ancient Corinth where we visit the museum and the archaeological site where the “Bema” is.

We conclude our tour in Corinth with lunch in a traditional Greek taverna and we start our return trip to Athens via Kechries, the port of Corinth from where St. Paul sailed to Ephessus.

This tour is a walk through Thissio & Monastiraki with culinary stops and ending in a Greek tavern.
